A local trattoria

After visiting Fattoria Corzano e Paterno it was suggested we stop at Tratroria da Bule for lunch. When we arrived there were only a few tables filled but by the time we finished at 2:00pm the small restaurant we pretty much full. Apparently workers from Antonori winery frequent da Bule for lunch.

Porto’s Bakery & Cafe
Porto Bakery on North Brand Boulevard in Glendale. It can be a bit confusing at first since there are several lines snaking all around the place with two sides – the ‘bakery’ and the ‘cafe’. (there is no difference other than the name). The place was jammed but according to some locals, the lines are usually out the door. After waiting for 10-15 minutes i reached the counter and ordered a potato ball, meat pie, chorizo pie (pies were more like empanadas) and a machaca wrap. Finished with a sweet guava cheese pastry. Several visits (or at least a large group) are needed to taste the extensive menu.
