Gotham still has it

Had a fantastic meal recently at Gotham Bar & Grill. The food, the service, the ambiance were all top rate.  I had the foie bras terrine, apparatus and English pea risotto and crisp, soft shell crabs. One criticism might be that he wine prices have climbed a lot higher that Chef Alfred Portale’s food.  Otherwise,  it was just like I remembered it from 25 years ago!

Breaskfast

I try to have a special breakfast with my son before school. Here’s today’s at http://www.sullivanstreetbakery.com

Soft cooked eggs, arugula, tomatoes, shaved parmesan,  striato bread. Pretty close to perfection.
